The Parish Annual Meeting is to be held at the Committee Room, The People's Hall, Howgill Lane, Sedbergh on Thursday 14 May 2026, commencing at 7pm

Sedbergh Parish Council were pleased to take part in Radio 4's recent article on Living and Light - featured on Sunday 21 December 2025. The Parish Council were invited to speak, following their project to improve street lighting in collaboration with The Friends of the Lake District.
Interested in helping your community - consider becoming a local Councillor. Sedbergh Parish Council currently has two vacancies and they wish to co-opt. The closing date is 26 January 2026.
Please visit the National Highways website to view the latest updates on their scheme to carry out essential repairs to improve the lifespan of seven bridges that carry the M6 motorway over the Lune Gorge. The scheme is all within a six mile stretch of the M6 motorway between junctions 37 and 38.
